Putting a Bigsby on a small guitar?

… Then you should probably forget about the Bigsby B7 and the way too steep angle between the tension bar and the bridge.

I've opted for the Bigsby B3 + the Towner Variable Tension Bar (http://www.townerusa.com) on my Epiphone ES-339, which is slightly larger than a Les Paul. The Towner Bar fits right on to the Tailpiece studs and lets you decide how much tension you want.

Furthermore … Mine – as many other guitars – has the electronics grounded via the tailpiece. So the Towner bar solves that problem too.

Took me oceans of time to come to this conclusion, but I'm so happy that I did, as I can think of no other setup, I'd rather have.

Regards

Peter

PS. Bigsby. You should seriously consider adding TownerUSA to your friends liste on the website. It's a much more elegant solution than Vibrathingimado
