BIGSBY B5 SPRING WASHER SCHEME
on: May 18, 2013, 12:04

A Bigsby B5 on my Gretsch Electromatic fell apart on a recent video shoot: handle fell off and we searched for parts on a salt plain for an hour. I think I found everything, but the handle, bolt, small spring, large spring order is alluding me. It looks like the white teflon washer seats freely in the base. I can find no schemes of the order online which is totally strange. With Bigsby's blueprints and instructions, a simple hardware scheme would be a big help. The main question is what holds the large spring in place, preventing it from falling out? I may have lost one washer, but I do have the fiber washer, small spring with small bolt and washer; large spring with teflon washer. Thanks!!!

Have you ever found the schematic or gotten the answer you were looking for? I've got the same problem with a White Falcon.
