John Mclaughlin

John Mclaughlin – Jazz guitarist and composer, he is one of the pioneering founders of what came to be known as “Fusion” – an amalgam of jazz and rock that draws from Indian and Western Classical music. He is first known as performing with Miles Davis on the landmark albums “In a Silent Way” and the premier fusion classic “Bitches Brew”. Later he went on to form The Mahavishnu Orchestra. Here he showcased an original approach that utilized the guitar as a spiritual tool – taking the listener on a blazing, melodic journey.

John Mclaughlin is considered one of the greatest electric players of all time, and continues to inspire.
