Chris Hillman

Chris Hillman – As an original member of the Byrds, he is a key figure of what is now considered Country Rock. Hillman was initially brought on to play bass in the band, he would later contribute as singer/songwriter, guitar, and mandolin player. He’s best known for the hit: “So You Want to be a Rock and Roll Star”, which he co-wrote and sang with Roger McQuinn.

Hillman is seen here playing a Gretsch Country Gentleman with Gretsch B6 Bigsby.
